i smell an oscar mr. cruise

I think tom cruise is an incredibly underrated actor.



Polly informed me that I have crappy scissors. Since I am now the official hair stylist of *insert anyone's name here*, i had to go out and buy actual hair cutting scissors. Well, since I'm cheap, I went for the $3.99 scissors. I mean, I have to watch what I spend. It's not like they're paying me for this crap! But anyway, the pair I bought are a piece of crap (sidenote: why does it feel so weird to say "pair" and to use "are" when referring to scissors? its a single object, yet we make it plural. like pants -single object, plural in grammatical style- pretty awkward if you ask me). I think I might go back to the large crappy kitchen scissors I used to use. they appear as though ineffective, but are actually nothing short of miraculous.
